The Koy Collection rugs have been designed exclusively for Artsy rugs, exhibiting the classical styling of a traditional gabbeh style rug. The gabbeh design is a modern tribal designed rug originated by the nomads of southern Iran, Pakistan and India. Although gabbehs usually have a heavier pile, the Koy Collection is designed with a thin pile and made with 100% handspun wool and natural dyes on a cotton foundation. It exhibits beautiful geometric human or animal patterns or stripes. Their lustrous soft wool and cultural authenticity makes them highly desirable to designers and collectors, bringing harmony to any room.
