Named after the master weaver from Marand, Iran during the latter quarter of the 19th century, the Haji Jalili rug is known to be among the finest of carpets woven in Persia and Pakistan. Known for using lighter and softer colors such as ivory, pink, wheat, gold, pale rust and grays, a Haji Jalili rug will elevate the beauty of any room. Usually woven in 250 knots per inch or greater, these designs often have brilliant floral designs with opulent central medallions or intriguing decorative patterns. 100% handspun wool on a cotton foundation.
